Have texted those for who I have the number, but my results from this grading:

2 fights, 2 Ippons (well, 4 Wazaris Wink ). Promotion to 1st Kyu.

I then entered the 1st Kyu gradings to go for points, primarily to get a feel for the standard I needed to be at. Lost my two qualifiers. Got put in someone's line-up, who was then concussed by their first opponent!

Thankfully, was put in as #2 in a second line-up. Managed to throw this guy for Ippon with Tani Otoshi. Perhaps ironic that the win I _do_ get was by a better score than my earlier fights in the day, and against someone who in the end had gained enough points for their 1st Dan (!)

So, 10 points as well! A good day. And of course, thanks to all of you for your coaching, training and encouragement which has made this possible!

Grading was heavily attended - not surprising considering it is one of the last ones of its type. Judoka from Wales, Dorset and East Sussex! And for 1st Kyus, the grading sheet was completely full...

Congratulations Tris, nice one. I thought it would be well attended, I bet its not often that the grading sheet is full up with 1st kyus. Well done on your points too.
